Chakras are energy centres in and around the body, it is said they can
be likened to swirling voices or whirlpools of energy. Early manuscripts
spoke of the three chakras, slowly more were discovered, and today it
is accepted that there are seven majour and many more minor chakras,
each swirling at its own speed and frequency of vibration. Blue is the
colour of the fifth chakra, the centre of communication and expression.
