(1942) The First of the Few

Several years after successfully designing a revolutionary high-speed monoplane, famed British aviator R.J. Mitchell (Leslie Howard) travels to early Nazi Germany for a vacation with his friend Geoffrey Crisp (David Niven), a test pilot. There, while watching a group of German gliders, Mitchell realizes that German air technology is rapidly advancing, and that the fate of Britain could hang in the balance. Despite serious illness, Mitchell sets out to develop a new warplane for Britain.

(1942) Black Dragons

At the height of World War II, several industrialists are found dead at the Japanese Embassy in Washington, D.C. The industrialists, who tried to subvert American war efforts, were murdered by Monsieur Colombe (Bela Lugosi), who is staying at the home of another noted industrialist, Dr. Bill Saunders (George Pembroke). Saunders doesn't realize his life is in danger, but a federal agent, Richard Martin (Clayton Moore), soon arrives on the scene to unravel a shocking conspiracy.

(1942) The Corpse Vanishes

Dr. George Lorenz (Bela Lugosi) and his wife (Elizabeth Russell) are getting on in years, but they've thought of a way to thwart aging. Lorenz abducts a nubile bride-to-be, Alice (Joan Barclay), and plans to extract her valuable bodily fluids to inject into his wife, restoring her health and vitality. Journalist Patricia Hunter (Luana Walters) is investigating the case of the missing bride, but, when the trail leads her to Lorenz, she doesn't realize she's in danger of becoming his next victim.
