26 x 24’ and 1 x 22' Christmas special ‘Christmas in Gaudinia’
‘Howdi Gaudi’ is a truly original children’s series inspired by the great European artist and Catalan architect Antoni Gaudi.
Just about anything can happen in Gaudinia:
elephants fly, chimneys come to life, buildings grow hair and best of
all - school and parents don't exist!
This is why our three pre-teen heroes, Al, Tab
and Eugene, are free to do what they want to frustrate the ambitions of
the wannabe witch, Katchia, whose dearest wish is to invade Gaudinia, so
she too can have some fun and even make some friends.
Al, Tab and Eugene
may seem to be the luckiest kids alive, but freedom brings its own
responsibilities and there are times when they need the help of all
their friends to see them through their adventures.
Many of the rich and varied backgrounds and
characters in this vivid series are inspired by actual buildings and
statues which Gaudi designed and which can be seen in the beautiful city
of Barcelona in northern Spain.
The extraordinary imagination of the artist
also inspired the creators of the series, Mark Zaslove and Phil Roman,
who between them developed a bunch of weird and wonderful characters who
live in a world in which nothing is quite like it really seems.
A Gaudins Projects/Steve Walsh/Agogo Media Production for TV 3 Catalunya.
